Our Intro:
Ron Mills brings over 40 years experience as a professional musician and bandleader to your event, with one major focus: Musical excellence with a personal touch. His wealth of experience as a pianist, conductor, composer, arranger, and bandleader guarantee that you are in the best of hands musically. Ron's various sized bands are at the ready for corporate events, charity galas, reunions, weddings, anniversary parties, concerts, and more. All of the musicians are all top-notch Chicago area players. Female vocalist Kate Rafferty adds her beautiful voice, musicianship, and charm to the mix. Excellence is the order of the day, every day, with the RMO.
Now, let's talk "Big Band". Ron's 14-piece Big Band is the pinnacle of Swing Music. The custom musical arrangements of well-known standard songs are all written by Ron, and not played by any other band in the world. This gives the RMO it's distinct "signature sound" that no other band has. Smaller sized bands are also available for more intimate settings (wedding ceremonies, dinner parties, dignitary receptions, etc.). And "the sound" (as in our sound system): This is an incredibly important aspect of any event, which is meticulously attended to by Ron. THE RMO WILL NEVER "blow you out of the room" with excessive volume. Period. Check out the quote further down this page for proof.
